I don't know what type of stone this is - perhaps a type of Jasper - but it revealed itself to me as Safari Stone. This Mystical Stone comes forward for the shaman or medicine people. It is a Scribal Stone and you can see an image of beautiful tree on its surface. I was also seeing animals. You might see something different and the images do morph and transform each time you gaze onto the shifting patterns on the surface of the stone.
